Gracious Lord,
your Son came to bring us good news and power to transform our lives:
grant that when He comes again as judge, we may be ready to meet Him with joy;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
