Grace and peace from God our Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
We continue to hold the George and Naidu families in prayer, may Amrita rest in peace and rise in Glory.
I am grateful to the small group of people who join me daily at Morning and Evening prayers (on Zoom or WhatsApp). The support of this group and the devotion to our culture of living in a rhythm of prayer is of great benefit to our community. Daily we uphold the life of the Church and God’s people, and present ourselves to God with prayers of repentance, lamentation, supplication, and thanksgiving. Scripture says that “God says – my house will be a house of prayer.”
It is good to see people returning to physical worship and again this week the numbers increased. I remind you to come a little earlier, as the COVID protocols do take time.
I ask you to uphold all the sick in our parish in prayer, please notify the Parish Office when you become aware of someone who is ill, so that we can pray for them.
Diocesan Council met last Saturday (24th) and I wish to report on the following which is of specific relevance to us.
- Reports were received from all Archdeaconries and Organisations and accepted without further discussion. These will be shared with the relevant Archdeaconry Structures.
May God continue to bless us as Parish and strengthen you, His people, to serve Him in this time and place.
Love and Peace
Fr Andrew
